I’ve been reading about the Hawkins broadband booster and other VoIP-enhancing devices (those gizmos that prioritize voice packets over data packets over a broadband Internet connection to reduce latency and improve VoIP quality). My VoIP connection sounds fine to me, but broken to most of my callers to the point of annoyance in some business conversations. Any recommendations?

Able to slow modem speed down to 9600 baund and to turn off ECM.

Before somebody brings up LD calling, let me clarify–
what is the maximum length of the cable between the VOIP box and our analog phone?

If I want to connect a main office to 2 remote sites, and I want the following number of users to be able to use the VoIP service:

Main office: 6 users
Remote site1: 4 users
Remote site2: 1 user

How many VoIP lines would I need?

P.S. the users will communicate with each other as if they were in one location. And the internet would be via Satellite.
