Does anyone know of a VOIP service where I can call Trinidad for deep discounted rates?
I am looking for a VOIP service where I can call Trinidad and Tobago for deep discounted rates???
VOIP service I don’t know, but I”ve used a cheap service called “Penny Talk” to call Japan at 4 cents a minute. I think you ought to visit the website and sign up for an account. They’re extremely discounted rates for pretty much any country!
http://www.pennytalk.com . I *HOPE* they are still around and offering the low rates.
I don’t know what VOIP means but we have Skype. It’s an internet phone that we use for all of our calls. It cost us about 6 dollars a month. I have called my husband when he is traveling in Mexico, Brazil, and Korea and there is never an additional charge. The calls are just as clear as any other phone. Can’t call 911 and it comes up unavailable on caller ID.
I have family in TT and its very difficult to get anything really cheap because the TT govt keeps a high tariff on the rates!!
I have used voice.yahoo.com for many years, because its even cheaper then skype! but now I use the Magic Jack and its totally free……which is very nice because I’m on the phone for hours…..got to talk to the whole family!!
I have send them a MJ and I have one at my house….so its free!!
buy 2 MJ and have them send to a US address and activate them, then send one of the MJ to TT…
yes…i also use onesuite.com , but its still to expensive….I use it only if I have too!
Trinidad Tobaco is one of the most expensive to call with the country code of 1. We used Onesuite a couple of times calling a business associate there so you may want to check it out.
supposedly free to call over VOIP by truphone if BOTH of you have voip phones, truphone account and a wireless connection. I use truphone not skype because there is no skype software for my Nokia E70. If i call direct tho its 25c a min US, same as from my home phone via covista communications LD
