Anyone know where to find an iPod headset adapter to turn it into a voip headset for a laptop?
I am looking for an adapter for an iPod four post headset to turn it into two plugs a headphone Jack and a microphone out. The moray razer gaming headset has an adapter like this but i don’t want to spend all that money just for the adapter.

What I want to do is be able to use my Skype and hear the other person through my headset and use my mic on my headset while Pandora plays through my computers main speakers.
Actually, it can be done because the person I talk to is doing it. So it can be done, I’m just not sure how and they don’t remember what settings they had to change to get it to work.

bluetooth, some are 2.4 GHz. What are the pros/cons of each? I’m mainly interested in 1) voice quality; 2) noise cancelling; 3) distance.
