The initial spate of success gave way to further improved versions of telephones. Telephones with every transformation became more useful and fashionable, to the extent that today a time has come when phones can actually be carried in the pockets. Not only this, phones today are not limited to making or receiving calls alone, instead they have now wide range of features programmed into them, which really has transformed it into a multi-utility phenomenon.

There is difference between modern and traditional telephones. Traditional ones are simple devices; you can make and receive calls with them. They are also able to make only monotonous beep, beep sounds. On the other hand, modern ones are enriched with sophisticated functionalities. They have more than one ringtones stored in them. So, you can set the one that suits your taste and appear friendly to your ears.

The best thing about such features is that there will be no chance of missing a call even though you do not disturb the peace in and around you.

One problem with telephones is that you cannot keep it on vibration mode so that you or anyone else may not be bothered by the sound of incoming calls. It is not something that you can carry always with you. So, the idea of having the vibration mode is simply ridiculous.
