My broadband usage for a month doubled. Would playing a lot of games online, add to this excess usage? I’m also using VOIP programmes to talk during the games, does this also add to the amount that i ‘download’?

When I am on my voip phone and surfing the web at the same time, the other person’s voice sounds choppy. How can I fix the problem so that I can talk and surf without their voice sounding choppy?

I’ve read several reviews with people saying a poor ISP is screwing up VOIP for them. Strongly considering VOIP, but would like to see if it’s an OK move. Also, any recommendations on a VOIP provider? Looking for it to be a “real” line for the house, as well as provide 911 services.

I’m also interested how a gps receiver can discriminate satellites’ C/A trains with multiple radios when all satellites are transmitting at the same frequency? Wouldn’t all the radios (like on a 12-radio GPS receiver) be listening to exactly the same thing? Seems like they’d all be stepping on themselves and not be separable.
