I use Skype and it runs sloppy at 5k down and 2 K up, is there a better VOIP at such low speed?
1/2 the week i’m using a cable modem and have great bandwidth, the other half of the week i’m using DSL off a public access router. I want to hang myself when it comes to making calls. My down speed is 3- 5k, and its not bad, but my up speed is what is killing my conversations. I can hear them but they have a hard time making out what I say. Is there a VOIP with better compresion or somthing along those lines?

I wish to create a voip billing system where I can use various voip sip providers. Is there such a platform?
I want to use various providers to set up my own provider service. Some providers offer better prices to certain areas than others so I wish to combine these to get the over all best rates to resell. Is there a platform, pref OS, to do this?
Are there any major drawbacks to VoIP services like Vonage, such as a delay?
When I say “delay”, I’m referring to the kind of delay experienced when talking on cell phones, that causes the two people to interrupt and talk over each other.
I’m interested in any other drawbacks of this service as well. Thanks!
Can I make two phone calls at the same time on VoIP provider such as vonage?
I was wondering whether I can connect to VoIP phones and make more than 1 call over Voip
I mean like putting in two phones into the router and the ability to make two phone calls at the same time. Will the line be restricted to one phone call at a time?
Is there any such thing as successfully sending a text message to a VOIP home phone (not a cell phone)?
I know someone who has a VOIP home phone service and would like to get certain text messages sent to them there and get them via email as opposed to their cell phone. Has anyone ever heard of this idea or if it could be done?
