Can I use my laptop with Verizon Wireless USB modem + Voice Wing VoIP service without owning a landline?

I would like to purchase a 2 yr contract for Verizon National Broadband access for my laptop using their USB wireless modem/card and would like to be able to make mobile phone calls using their VoIP service, Voice Wing by Verizon Wireless. Is there anything especially in terms of the consent of Verizon that would prevent my doing this?

How do I operate the GPS capability on my Verizon wireless Samsung sch-a950 phone?

I recently lost my Verizon wireless Samsung sch-a950 phone, and can’t seem to find it. I just remembered messing with the system setting of the phone, and seeing some sort of GPS locator device on it. I was wondering how I would be able to activate that in order to help me find my phone. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

AT&T UVerse – An Alternative to Cable Television Service

Perhaps you have grown weary of ever increasing cable television bills showing up in your mailbox every month. That wouldn’t be surprising, as statistics show that cable TV companies raise rates an average of 4% every year! One alternative is satellite TV, but a third choice available in many areas is AT&T U-verse.

U-verse is the brand name product of a new technology being rolled out by AT&T.Basically, it can give you all of the same services that your cable television company can offer. Not only will you get digital quality video service including quite a bit of HD content, but you can also subscribe to high speed internet and of course your home phone line as well.A few years back, big cable companies began to offer triple-play bundles which offered all three services together. That seemed to wake up phone companies like Verizon and AT&T, both of which now offer these same triple-play bundles.

So do the AT&T Uverse reviews compare well with your cable television operator?

Some side-by-side comparison shopping would probably be in order if you are looking at AT&T’s service. Generally, if you are a new customer you can strike a pretty good deal, especially if you want all three services. One thing to consider is that U-verse is brand new in many areas, so some customers have reported bugs in the video service. While cable TV companies have been at it for decades, AT&T is new to the video game. Take some time to look at some of the A&TT Uverse reviews out there before subscribing to the pool.

Overall, At&T U-verse may fit your needs if you are looking for an affordable option to cable TV. The first step is to see if it is even available to you, as the deployment of the service is taking several years. If not, there is still the option of going with one of the satellite TV players if you are looking to dump your cable TV company.
